It's never Ukraine/Zelenskyy hinting at big progress towards peace is it. I wonder why it's only Trump who thinks peace is near.

Europe's supposed counter proposal is crazy - it's acquiescing to Russian demands but haggling on minor details.
Ukraine should have no limits on the size of its military under any deal. The size of Ukraine's military was not a cause of the invasion so why restrict it?

Does the BBC really think that internal USA politics is really the number 1 story in the UK today?

Surely Trump's reputation would have had to have been damaged by the BBC for any lawsuit to pay out

Has Trump just backed down in the trade war he started?

Adobe Acrobat is the worst. I was sent a link to a document by a public sector organisation and there are 4 separate sales pitches that are made to me by Adobe. Disgusting.

The BBC news website seems to have taken a break from making a front page headline about the latest stupid thing dobald trump said...

This is unsatisfactory interference in the domestic politics in another country. Trump appears to be giving a huge bailout to the country to prop up a Government that Trump or those around him like. Not for the sake of the country, but for the sake of ideological allies.

It's interesting that most of the places that don't recognise the Palestinian state are in Europe

I wonder whether Labour would have any success pinning the doubling in migration on Farage's Brexit policy, with the aim of discrediting him. I think at the moment the Faragists blame the Tories for the migration rather than Farage, so it oculd be an uphill battle.
August 27, 2025 at 6:53 AM
I wonder if Labour could make a story about the effectiveness of Farage's policy advocacy. "You told us Brexit was about stopping migration, it's doubled. Leaving the ECHR is no silver bullet."
Although perhaps this won't work, because I think that the Faragists blame the Tories not Brexit.

Wow the Tories are quick to complaing about gerrymandering when Labour change the voting age. I seem to remember recently a) 15-year expats being given the vote b) an attempt to reduce the number of seats in the Commons. Both of which were expected to benefit the Tories. The Tories are shameless.

BBC now redirecting links on their website to a TV Licencing web page that blocks the content... despite posessing a tv licence. This is only going to piss off the licence payers.
