We have an award winning pastry place in town, only open three days a week. Rolled up about 30 minutes after they were supposed to open, no lights on or closed sign, see people in there but not gonna knock and be rude. Sat and read out front, saw 40ish people come and go. Bummer way to start the day

I think the only real way that “the Rock like you’ve never seen him before” tracks in the Smashing Machine is that he looses and he cries. It’s still him, the same way he is in most movies, just without any humor. I applaud the effort, but I think a serious turn in cameo would have been better.

Hot take: if you’re doing an interview with one of the three original broadcast channels, you probably weren’t actually cancelled. People not liking one of your eras, based off vibe or merit, isn’t canceling you. Losing out on opportunities because you were cringe is a bummer… but not cancellation.
