Incluso encontramos una colilla de cigarro dentro de un cráneo. Un cuerpo humano actual, histórico o precolombino tiene derecho a un trato digno y respetuoso. La situación de los cementerios arqueológicos y su profanación debería causar el mismo revuelo que lo que vemos hoy en las noticias.

La profanación de tumbas y robo de restos óseos humanos del Cementerio General ha causado gran revuelo. Sin embargo, esto ocurre a diario en los cementerios prehispánicos del norte de Chile. Hemos encontrado esqueletos junto a papel higiénico, fecas, latas de cerveza, mascarillas, botellas con orina
