Gray kitten is home. She is eating but she is pretty rough. I must admit I am pretty worried about her.

Spent two hours hanging out with the gray kitten. She was high as a kite but really, really happy to see us. She ended up sleeping inside my coat for about an hour. Hopefully, early tomorrow we can go back and pick her up.

The mixed bag about dried beans: You can get a decent amount for fairly cheap. Like four pounds for $5 for black beans. But the quality just isn't there. So many broken and questionable ones I fished out of the soaking bowl.

Gray kitten dodged an emergency vet visit, fortunately. Driving to the vet in -18 degrees at 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning? Neither of us recommend.

Gray kitten had some tummy troubles so off to the vet this afternoon. xray and barium found no blockage, so hopefully no emergency vet visit again. Vet here seems confident, but early morning appointment to be sure after keeping an eye on her tonight.

I signed up for a front door site, and they have an onboarding loop you're required to go through in order to establish your presence. The loop requires connection to a mainstream social network site, which I don't have. They insist I go through the loop, despite what I have told them.

A belated new year's resolution will be to break up with minimalist "influencers." A bunch of them have been on the "it's all crap!" and "it's all garbage" bandwagon lately. True, the overall quality of some things has declined. But that doesn't mean everything is worthless and should be thrown away

The Person I Live With announced that he wants to stock up the pantry more and that I need to stop buying "that vegan stuff." I asked for an example of "vegan stuff," and he couldn't supply one.

Today's adventure: air-fryer tofu. Stupid easy. Perfect texture and nice pops of flavor. Now just not to eat the whole block.

My original photo project for this month needs to be revised due to, shall we say, extenuating circumstances. Need to find something else. Maybe 30 days with just the Fuji Half?
