Well I scolded a few people today. I don’t love uppity scolding me, I try to stay mostly humble… it will come back to bite me later. But not crashing out right now if that helps.

But they sought to protect them. That is the document and certainly things are a lot better for the descendants of slaves than when we had slaves. Don’t be ridiculous. We always aspire to do better as we learn. But the learning has to be there.

No i do not think that and I did not say that. I think that people should vote for the best available option. Seems pretty basic to me. You vote for what is going to help the most people and harm the least. Sometimes it is still painful. But at least you are not contributing to things being worse.

These posts are so obtuse. I have seen a few now. They don’t seem to have even the common sense to keep their mouths shut that they actively participated in getting us here.

I don’t know that it moves the needle but we need to make many calls to our congresspeople and encourage others to do the same. Also 1/23 strike, never you can.

It is not a “belief” it is an understanding of our constitution, laws and history. Nothing about that is fake. As a society this is our foundation and like physical foundations it shifts over time for better or worse. Whether the foundation will hold is another subject.

Will a larger group of elected republicans ever be embarrassed to be tied to this man? I mean what does it take.

This is many places across the US btw. Not quite as bad as Minneapolis but it is happening.
