there's a bunch of reasons, those that haven't already been said is that sometimes the compression is just shit and can get bogged down, the other reason I know of is steam being weird and trying to get out of the way of other shit going on on your pc even if there doesn't seem to be.

Overall the vibes were good some scenes were so peaceful.

The way Clover was written was a lot of the time horrifyingly close to my own thoughts, the layers of dissociation, the void in my heart, the willingness to go along with anything just to not be alone.
The bathroom scene was intense, traumatizing, and some of the hottest stuff I have read...

I've played it twice, both times having to go lay down to think for a bit a few times.
I liked the intro, was a comfy way to start.
The swing from joy to terror and back before both coming together at the end had me hooked.
