This! Surround yourself with people with different knowledge sets for endless excitement. And while we’re here, let’s celebrate people changing their opinions when they learn new things.
if you know a lot of stuff i think it is your moral duty to be kind and excited when people learn stuff for the first time. the world is full of stuff we don't know about, don't be mean

I just wanted to try to sculpt a coyote nose while thinking about what to make for my first project in a new community ceramics studio, and this happened. Let’s hope the kiln is good to him.

When Amazon launched in 1995, there were 5,500 indie bookshops in the U.S., with 7,000 locations. By May of 2023, that number had decreased to 2,185 indies & 2,599 locations.

When you purchase audiobooks via Libro.fm vs. Audible, you directly support indie bookshops. Let's make that number grow ❤️

I found this in a thrifted in animal behavior book I bought. The first was so relatable - remember trying to keep the quadrants straight at first? - but this permanent inscription is going to drive me insane. I may add an “are.” #dogs #learningtheory

I spent a few hours of my own time this weekend putting together a team building trivia game for a work meeting this morning, including the most annoying and over-the-top animated slide deck. It’s all an excuse to tell my coworkers about cool #parasites for a solid 30 minutes.
