We just bought a Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. NO PLUG IN NEEDED. The gas mileage is phenomenal, great passenger & cargo space and we do love to car travel so NO PLUG IN ANXIETY.Much better mileage and ride than our previous ride-Jeep Wrangler Hybrid which we loved. Miss the Jeep, Love the Hyundai more.

Actually, we grew up in WI, retired to HI & just came back “ home” because the islands got waaaay to expensive. Its turning into all vacation property for the wealthy and very few year round home owners. Sad. The people on Big Island are wonderful & they ate getting priced out.

Our capacity to be empathetic seems to to be slowly falling away. Only interacting through social media is a way to exchange ideas, but it also isolated and makes the problems of human society too easy to ignore.
