Over on FB we have the righteously indignant right calling for the firing of a local teacher for posting Charlie Kirk’s own words. This was posted on the teachers personal Instagram account. The local school board actually had to put out a statement to stop the calls they were getting.

He had to get his kennel cough shot which goes up the nose. Not fun but he was a relatively good boy.
I’m going to Victoria with Rachel for a few days and Derwin is going to look after her cats. The cats have met Frodo and it didn’t go well. We have to board him.

I have a game on my iPad for my daughters cats. Her tabby Mozart was REALLY enjoying it. When I got home I found bite marks on my case. He must have been trying to use it when no one was around. So just how much screen time are cats allowed to have?🤣

An update from the separation meeting held in Brooks recently. They had booked space for 500 and told people to get there early. All hype, no substance.
This particular group thinks joining the US is the way to go.

I just saw this on our local rant and rave Facebook page. Apparently the treaties have been brought up but everyone is choosing to ignore them. Brooks is part of Danielle Smiths riding. Be a shame if this event was disrupted. Just sayin’.

From FB. Major discussions there about how Alberta can leave and totally disregard treaties. Oil production happens mostly on treaty lands. Point this out and the stupidity and racism take over. They have embraced "alternate facts". Its like a bunch of self-righteous teenagers.

If the Liberals are going to get someone in this riding they better do it soon. I’m still only seeing 2 candidates. For me, it could mean declining my ballot.

A recall petition petition for DS isn’t available to us. We’re more than 18 months out since the last election (May 29, 2023) and more than 6 months away from the next election. There’s also a $500 fee and a crap load of paperwork.
We have a better chance of her being arrested for treason.

We have no candidates. I’ll cast my vote for the Liberals, we just need a candidate! There isn’t even a confirmed PC yet. Time is short!
