Sick and tired of mankind's unfathomable stupidity and ignorance.
If I may, I would love to add a novel to this list. 10:59 by N. R. Baker. By gum it's an incredible read, and I've long been advocating for it to be added to every secondary school's essential reading lists. 'Educational' doesn't even begin to cover it - the subject matter is incredibly important.

I'd love to make myself heard and promote my writing... but for the fact that everything I've authored so far has admittedly been sub-par and I've yet to complete my opus. Aside from that though, yeah...

If this matter causes you concern, I urge you to read 10:59 by N. R. Baker. It's a novel (a thriller) and has overpopulation and the consequences at the heart of it. It's an absolute eye-opener and is also a very, very good story.

Has anyone yet coined the term 'MAGALOMANIAC'? Because if so, then kudos to them. But if not, then that is my gift to the egotistical pumpkin's 'Murica. You're welcome.

There was a period for over two years when we didn't have any internet at all (renovating a house in the country). It was blissful. Since we got it back I've deleted most of my social media accounts and don't read news anymore, and life is so much calmer.

Haha! What a great meme (from a great film).

I remember how badly I wanted to live in the US when I was a kid - the stories I read about apple pie and riding bikes in suburban bliss, then in later years the club and beach life... it all sounded so idyllic. I even spent 3 months living there in the 90s. But now? I'm so grateful I didn't settle.

I've spent the past five years or so trying to get people to read the brilliantly penned novel (a thriller) called 10:59 by N. R. Baker. The topic at its core is overpopulation. Yet nobody wants to hear or accept that our world is sinking under the weight of too many people. Soon it'll be too late.

I wish I could agree on the population thing, I truly do. It took tens of thousands of years to get to 4 billion humans. In just over 50 years, that figure has doubled. That's a frighteningly steep scale. Sure there's a lot of planet, but resources to sustain all of us indefinitely? Doesn't add up.

I'm astonished that people continue to wilfully ignore the cause of climate change: exponential human growth. More people mean more emissions, food production, destruction of essential habitats for animal life, etc. PLEASE read the thriller 10:59 by N. R. Baker for a greater insight into this issue.

Not too sure about this one. 'Longer intelligent thanks to Viagra'? The copywriter could benefit from a dose, possibly. 🤣

If you're on the hunt for a truly brilliant novel (a thriller, with just a pinch of dystopia), I cannot recommend this highly enough:

Lobo: The Last Czarnian (limited series, 1990).

Keith Giffen, Alan Grant, Simon Bisley. Not worth particularly much, but what a ride! What memories!
