He was great until they put the IC on him. His run completely failed (love Shamrock but he couldn't talk in the AA)
and Vince lost faith immediately. Shamrock was never treated the same after that.

I am quite autistic, you can stop trying to invalidate my opinion by "othering" me. We can fight for accommodations without dehumanizing or showing contempt for the NT point of view. Get YOUR head out of the sand, your type of thinking will lead us to the ovens.

My issue with it is that it promotes an "us vs them" mentality that historically has proven disastrous to every marginalized group to ever exist.
In a war of "us vs them", they win. Don't do it. It's not helpful to the cause.

My only criticism of this is that communication is a two-way street. If we ask them to make concession for us, we must make concessions for them. This page sometimes promotes a tribalistic attitude that I don't find helpful to the larger discussion.

I'm assuming you've done the freely-available clinical screeners, watched youtube/reddit or whatever, and have been reading? If it all feels relevant to you, I'd suggest seeking out an autistic group or community and seeing how you fit in. It's honestly a big indicator.

Best I can do is a two and a half minute Reaper demo lmao

Frustration, sure, but contempt dehumanizes and leads to tribalism. "Us vs Them" isn't going to get us the recognition and accommodations we're fighting for.
Semantic, maybe, but words matter.

Yes, lets string together an insult made up of actual medical diagnosis like words don't matter and disorders are epithet-worthy.

Who cares, it was pop culture autism that characterized the disorder in terms of special abilities and useful idiosyncrasies instead of a realistic spectrum and support levels showing the variety of impact the disorder has on us and our loved ones.

since I was 14 years old I've been smoking weed and trying to explain to people that i didn't like my brain when i was sober.
nobody ever understood what I was talking about until I was medicated for adhd finally at age 46.
eventually the medical community will realize mj has mental health apps

Why do people insist on this strawman. Nobody says its the guns, we all know it's the nutjobs. But it's easier to take their tools away than to round them up, so that's the option we have.
