Epigenetics as it pertains to weight gain is super fascinating-it's essentially how your environment impacts what genes are expressed a lot and what genes are expressed chot ut so much.

Here's a use case:
Many of us have the blessing of not living alone. That being said, sometimes our relationship with food is different than that of our other half's.
Instead of punishing them because we have a hard time controlling ourselves (and also instead of torturing ourselves).

Trying to drop weight too fast isn't a good idea.
I know we all get jazzed up to start, but the more extreme you go, the worse idea it is.
We're usually not actually after weight loss.
We're after fat loss.
That means muscle preservation (and maybe even growth!) while losing fat.
The slower you go.
