On the contrary the lobby groups got exactly what they wanted. They got rid of the author, rid of the board, and most significantly Louise Adler who has been a thorn in their side for years. The cancellation of AWW was just collateral damage. Something they’re very at home with.

I suspect with lobby groups holding the reins, any future arts festival will be lobotomised, bland and one sided.
