Today is National Barbecue Day and I'm remembering my first love. What is now Green Mesquite on Barton Springs Road was knows as "Pee Wee's BBQ." It introduced me to the Bubbacue Taco: Brisket on a flour tortilla. And you would come back from lunch smelling of it. Anyone else remember Pee Wee's?
