Google basically laughed at my search for where gas is less than $2 in the US
As of early December 2025, finding gas under $2 a gallon in the U.S. is extremely rare, with most states averaging above $2.50-$3.00; however, you might find pockets in Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado where specific stations dip below $3, but sub-$2 prices are more a thing of the past or limited to very few spots, not widespread, with Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, and Arkansas generally having the lowest averages (around $2.70-$2.80).

It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all. The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.
