I just can't get comfortable with the VIE structure of most Chinese listings on the NYSE.

😶 Done manually you say? Now that's dedication. No but you're right, I get a better sense of the patterns developing doing it on excel. Plus SEDAR just doesn't attract the same script kiddies EDGAR does. I checked godelterminal, TIKR, Koyfin and they lack detailed metrics for Cdn small caps. Sad.

I was reading through your previous substack and found your Canadian REIT comparison chart for 3/22/24. That's a brilliant way to get an overview of the Canadian REIT space. I was curious what you were using to get the input data on aggregate for those metrics?

Why is it Canadian interest sensitive sectors (REITs) trade more in line with US bond yields despite having the majority of their debt domiciled with the Cdn 5yr and 10yr? Trend is consistent regardless of leverage ratios and variable/fixed ratios.
