Former above replacement value bureaucrat.
It’s a rookie mistake among redaction software users. Or not a mistake at all.

That’s why private rights of action are needed to compensate people whose rights are violated. Take money out of agents’ paychecks for abuses that every real LEO knows is illegal.

The Obi-Wan series was a crime against humanity. She should have been fired for that alone.

If it’s page-by-page, that’s a red flag. It suggests that someone outside of the regular redaction system redacted certain pages like an amateur and had it slipped into the final package. Why those documents? Did they run out of software licenses? Doubtful. Did loyalists overrule career staff? Odd.

It would be malignant stupidity. Every single public disclosure officer in DOJ knows you can’t just highlight text black. They use specialized software to truly redact. If this actually happened, it’s probably because the Administration sidelined career staff and in favor of doofus loyalists.

No, we should get that for free.

Based on my experience as a grand juror, the Alexandria grand jury probably read the transcript of the earlier testimony. But with these clowns, anything goes.

Grassley says he cares. I made an assumption that the Senate confirmed some without blue slips but that does not seem to be correct. I guess we’ll see what is stronger, the tiniest sense of dignity left in Grassley or Trump’s drive for revenge.

The Senate just confirmed a bunch of U.S. Attorneys with 51 votes, so if Trump wants a vote to keep her there, he’ll probably get it.

I haven't felt like I have missed out on any important content since my annual sub expired about a month ago. I live in DC and don't even miss the local news content.

For people who think they’re safe to say what they want on Bluesky or whatever platform but not safe to register for a protest, it is probably much easier for the government to get your name and contact information from Bluesky than it is to get it from mobilize.us.

Truman did send a very nasty letter after his daughter’s singing was panned by a newspaper writer.

If I were his lawyer, I’d say hold out for a Maxwell-style deal with the President.

In any event, my post was not a prediction of what will happen, just a statement of what seems minimally necessary to make Trump's non-apology credible as a promise not to imprison foreign investors' employees.

Blaming the woman sounds Trump-y to me.
September 14, 2025 at 10:33 PM
He has to fire Noem to make his non-apology even remotely credible to Korea or any other country or foreign business.

A tactical retreat until his power is threatened.

Translation: Dallas overpaid for its 2nd and 3rd best players and lost one of the best players on the league.
