Apparently one sign of being a bot is using a default image. So this morning I took a picture of my coffee cup at work, created in Zazzle.

The full text is:

The meek shall inherit the Earth
The rest shall inherit the Stars

In addition to Mars, there's a picture of the Moon on the reverse.

For those that think that Trump can run for a third term as President in 2028, that same interpretation of the Constitution would also allow Obama to run again.

I've been told that the DOGE Guys are merely auditors and we shouldn't be scared of auditors finding waste and inefficiency in federal programs.

I'm a trained auditor. Calling the DOGE Guys auditors is equivalent to handing someone a scalpel and calling them a surgeon.

Assuming this article is correct, ICE is going the Big Brother route.

ICE wants to hire contractors to monitor social media for threats. Those who criticize the agency could be pulled into the dragnet.

Apparently we're having the worst flu season in twenty years. Our vaccination rate has dropped by about a quarter.

I wonder these two facts are related.

I guess I'm not going to ship all my Libertarian Party stuff to the LNC after all. (At least not now.)

Let's see if the new Chair can clean all the MAGA influences from the national party before completely giving up on the party.

As for the old Chair, "Doing fine, the witch is dead, the wicked..."

Today's episode of the History of China podcast covered around 550 to 561. As the discussion turned to Emperor Wenxuan of Northern Qi, who managed to completely collapse the richest and strongest of the Chinese states in about a decade, I reminded myself that it couldn't happen here, right?

Crony Capitalism, which is the form of capitalism which impoverished Central and South America, is now being adopted in the United States.

Thank you Trump.

So the third person on the Black Hawk has been identified as a former White House Aide under the Biden administration. Am I being paranoid when I wonder if this was a hit job by the Trump administration?

I'm confused about the headlines.

Are the Chinese tariffs only 10% or are they increased by an additional 10%?

If only 10%, why is Trump punishing our allies more than our antagonists?

It's been a while since we've gone to local theater, so Lisa and I have gone to the Shoestring Theater (Lake Helen) for The Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. A friend of ours is the director, and several friends are in the cast.

There's a rumor that Michael Waltz is already on the outs with the Trump Administration. This would leave Rubio as the only adult in the administration for foreign policy. So the question is whether Rubio has the strength of character to stand up to Trump.

If you are worried about the every growing national debt, you'll get the yearly deficit to zero before even thinking about lowering taxes.

Well, that was a pleasant experience.

Just got a new phone since my old phone was reaching end of support. Transferring of data, etc., from one phone to the other was remarkably painless.

At least one bit of technology looks like it's working well.

I've been using MagaBox to catalog my cards. I've made it to my Mirrodin Block binder and am at 3,975 cards. Once I finish my binders, I've also got a bunch of cards in boxes, etc. Most of them will end up as Available, so I may be able to up the number of recent cards.
