The 10th Amendment is critical to preventing the current Trump power grab.

It reserves certain rights to the states (and their political subdivisions, like cities) and to the people.

It’s these rights Trump is abrogating by creating “emergencies” to call in troops and give himself more power.

As one who has litigated FOIA cases for over 30 years, this decision is consistent with applicable law and policy.
