Welp... just reached out to my mom's surprise half brother through Ancestry. It will be interesting to piece this story together! Now the waiting begins....
Today was an eventful one - had a big photoshoot with lots of dogs this morning (fun and exhausting), found out through Ancestry DNA that my mom has a surprise half brother, and my sweet dad's sweet cousin passed away.

After a year of bad news and lots of obstacles, we finally had a win yesterday and don't have to dig up my yard to replace a sewer pipe. This is seriously the best news I've had in months!
