Rewatching the Simpsons episode "Homerpalooza," I've come to the realization that, if made today, the bands on the episode – The Smashing Pumpkins, Peter Frampton, Cypress Hill, etc. – wouldn't be what Homer listened to. They would be what Grampa Simpson listened to.

I'm going to start a thread of things that seemingly only existed in my memory. No amount of Google-Fu would render any result, or even clues. And then, after years and year, and with the memories fading, I finally found them.

Just found @andyranimations.bsky.social's video on the Apollo 13 and said to myself "2 hours‽ Ain't nobody got time for that!". Well, here I am. 2 hours later. What an amazing video, man! Riveting as the movie but for nerds, no drama, just facts. Awesome work!

Today I have a dream where I helped Joe Biden survive a heart attack, and as a reward, I got to ride on The Beast with the Obamas. All this happened in Mexico, so Joe Biden got a ride on an old IMSS ambulance. Also, The Beast was kinda like a party bus on the inside, with staff and a cook

As a non native English speaker, it greatly annoys me when people misspell "Hannibal Lector" instead of "Lecter". Also "Columbia" when they mean to say "Colombia"

I just watched Eddington and I'm very confused. It doesn't follow up at all with the events from Paddington in Peru, nor any other of the movies on the Paddington series
