Can be any of those. In my case it was complicated. I'd known for years but had not realized I needed to act on it, express it; I simply put the label on myself and thought that was enough, but I was wrong, and it took an experiment to figure that out.

Unrelated to the pandemic itself, that's when I had my gender egg-crack. By a very deliberate, scientific experimental method - testing the first thing on my list of what might be missing from my life. Later the pandemic would complicate things by making it hard to find queer community.
