The original Yooka Laylee was already perfect, don't laugh, but Replaylee is so good it's perfect plus one.

I hear the Switch 2 version is the buggiest.

But this is my 3rd crash to Switch 2 menu today with Yooka Replaylee. Granted I played for 9 hours straight without interruption but still.

There is a tonic to switch Yooka and Laylee's colours and is still applies to dialogue boxes. Love that detail.

The notion of "You could be playing Astro Bot or Bananza, so why play this?" is insanely defeatist.

I love those games, but they're also both twice the price of Replaylee and both platform locked to specific consoles. God forbid I want to play more than one platformer every year.

Sucks that Yooka Replaylee says on Switch that it'll release on the 9th, and then I wake up on the 9th to buy it, and it's not available.

Someone in the Playtonic discord told me it comes out on the 10th here. That sucks, have the correct date on your eshop.
