Quick intro, I’m Chris 👋 and I’m a #photographer out of Denver, Colorado. It’s not my profession…yet.

I talk about photography and get into some tech stuff. I try not to go down the rabbit hole of more heated topics, photography can get heated enough. Anyway, here are some favorites of mine.

Shine

Silhouettes of tree tops in front of a bright area of light shining up from the horizon. The light is streaking in areas of dark, giving it a kind of blast effect.

I would but I need to continue to use large social media platforms to grow my business. But I don’t have to use them for personal reasons, just share what I’m working on and respond to people.

I’m happy to hear you enjoy my photography. I do enjoy sharing.

Yeah, might help if I put more time in commenting on other posts.

I enjoy Glass, but it’s not a free service

One thing I know is that I need to cut way down on Apps By Meta, including Instagram and Threads. The algorithm just shows me rage bait and I want out of that.

I haven’t found much of a social media space here on Bluesky. I post photos, people like them, that’s been nice.

But when I try to do any kind of conversation, it feels a bit like talking to a wall.

Off the beaten path

I didn’t cancel Disney+ because they took Jimmy Kimmel off the air, I don’t even watch that show. I did it because of why they took him off the air. And it will stay cancelled because they can’t undo cowardice.

The Leica Q3 continues to impress me, 9 months after buying it.

A scene at a reservoir during blue hour. The water rippling around dead trees, the first light of day cresting the horizon with the crescent moon and Venus clear in the dark blue sky.
