Um, ICE just coldly shot an unarmed PRIEST in the head w a pepper ball when he (and everyone around him) clearly posed no threat.

For the crime of … complaining about government policy.

I'm glad you and others are writing about this incident in Chicago. I'm afraid there will be more. I find it really disturbing ... along with too many things these days. Willy nilly, some people are losing their rights in an instant.

This is a great idea, Jen! I have Libby and hadn't thought to read newspapers and magazines. My neighbor sometimes gets the Economist (paper copy) as well.

I know Chris! As I've told others, it wasn't meant as a criticism. I can't pay for a subscription for every publication I'd like to read. We all need to be paid for our work of course.

Thank you for this. There's also something fishy here that seems to be some connection with the building owner. Everyone kicked out of their homes without notice and their belongings confiscated and destroyed ... because of an ICE raid? Was there some collaboration/collusion here?
