Southern Indiana University and Purdue University will be finishing up on June 20 their archaeological field school at Fort Ouiatenon. They have explored the location of the canoe launch and excavated features with carbonized corn cobs and a possible roasting pit. They are also mapping the cemetery.

Tippecanoe County Historical Association will host two special programs: a Tour of Ouiatenon Preserve on June 12 (members only) and an Artifact Show and Tell at Ouiatenon Field School on June 18.

Ste. Genevieve's French Heritage Festival is June 14! The festival activities are free, but tickets are required for the dance. We are looking forward to our conference later this year, co-sponsored by the Foundation for Restoration of Ste. Genevieve. Stay tuned, registration will open soon!!!
