You gotta love Econ. Prices are raised to cut back demand for a product shortage. Yet, inelastic goods will be purchased regardless of price, so demand isn’t necessarily affected. Then when supply meets demand again and they just keep the prices high. Brilliant for them, but fucks for us.

That’s called inelasticity. When people will pay whatever price for something they need. Not as inelastic as food mind you. But in that market, when you only have one fucking competitor, and they raise their prices, you’d be a fool not to raise your own bc you’re selling below the “going rate.”

I do have 5600 ddr5, so I’m set there. But 8gig optimizations are starting to slip away a bit from what I seen recently with digital foundary videos.

I agree with this. MGSD frame eater was fine after some mod/custom optimizations at 1440p with good ol DLSS. Anything not well optimized does suffer. But the 12gb of VRAM is a luxury now I guess.

Source scale is so funny bc Alyx had so much consideration for how accurate objects in the world were sized. Playing HL2VR you see how comically inconsistent scale was and this image also is a good example of this.

There’s more I wanna say but I have a video I’ve been haphazardly working on that may see the light of day.

The original game frustrated me so much but those small reloaded tweaks made a whole world of difference and let the games merits shine through. Such an improvement over Heroes which I cannot stand to play.

The multiple endings was actually a carry over from SA2s development. That married with a level design that’s inclusive of several objectives makes replay engaging and gives good incentive for repeat playthroughs.
