We became friends when he was based in London and playing in duo with Douglas Benford, under their Tennis moniker. BiP_HOp released 2 albums with Tennis. In parallel he was running his label Expanding Records focusing on instrumental electronic music.

No, this is not a new Magma album. Not really. Orkestraahlka is 2004's K.A. (Köhntarkösz Anteria) without vocals. That's it, just the instrumental tracks. Magma's vocal lines, typically with three or more singers, have been one of its most compelling hallmarks since the group's reemergence in the late 1990s. Chanting in Christian Vander's invented Kobaïan phonetic language has distinguished the group since its 1970 debut and continues to do so.
