Mansplaining on social media is, of course, bad (and typical). But discouraging young people is really something. It's amazing that people who teach at school still think this is a supportive/constructive thing to say. I assume it was well-intended which makes it even more sad.

Yep. The varnish has iridescent magnetic pigments in it that can be manipulated with a magnet before setting it on the nail. Process is really interesting.

Also, my physics awesomeness is not stored in my nails. So physics is also totally doable for people without fancy nails. OBVIOUSLY. 🙄
