Sounds like Andy and Angus from Skipinnish have dumped their second frontman/singer for being too popular. Looks like Norrie found put from S's FB post.

We should have been at that gig, but then we got a puppy and couldn't leave her so managed to cancel the room and sell the tickets.
And now I'm gutted because Skipinnish have just booted Norrie from the band (without telling him until the announcement apparently) and this was his last gig with them

I've just done a pair of mitts with lots of alternate colours like this, and I know exactly what you mean.
I did offer to make two pairs, but they're predominantly black and I just cannot knit more stuff in black at this time of year. My eyes and my soul can't cope

It's not much better in Lancashire. But I'm telling myself it's *only* a month til the Solstice, and we will gain light much quicker than we lost it.
