but i do not consider the amount i currently work to be healthy or normal. so much of my time is spent preparing for the next thing- this lifestyle is not for everyone. stability is a precious resource these days, which is why i say not to quit your job to do this

also i should clarify with this as well that I love what i do so dearly i actually can’t believe how lucky i am most days… but i did not originally choose it. i was laid off from my full time job, and it’s only because i had a financial support system to fall back on that i stuck w merch design

DO NOT QUIT YOUR JOB TO DO THIS it is not glamorous it is not easy it is gambling plain and simple and if you're not lucky / do not have a backup plan it will wear you down immensely. i am running on pure fumes for most of the year
