For anyone who doesn’t know me, hello! I’m a disabled 40 yr old in the tail end of recovery from a major surgery. I spend a lot of time thinking about video games, ttrpgs, anime, books, and electronic music. Likely to mainly post about the gaming side of things, especially older games or arpgs 😊

While its not multitouch, using a steam controllers right trackpad as a mouse is real similar to a trackball with friction settings you can customize among other things

Got my third ascendancy done on my lich in PoE 2! I was overly worried, absolutely obliterated the boss for the fourth floor of trial of the sekhemas.

Still having a great time with it, will be interesting to see where they go with 0.4.

Of course, this Friday a new Torchlight season starts 😅

- Fixed bug that would cause sidequest flags to become unset.
- Fixed bug where subtitles in the "Speech" FMV would cause a game crash on hardware.
- Fixed first memory card message appearing as black screen.
- Fixed font palette issues.
- In-battle subs code has been rewritten to display code in chat log style; no more disappearing subtitles.
- Geyorkias's subtitles now correctly map to the correct voice lines.
- Various typo and consistency fixes.
- Anikamal save bug (present in the original game) has been fixed.
- Menu background during pause display bug (present in the original game) has been fixed.

Yeah, it feels like a small slice of a larger story. Kind of like we started on episode 7 of something. That said, the vibes are immaculate! Some of the best cyberpunk anime art of the era too

If I recall correctly some of the early Wizardry games did this, where they set you up to expect a regular grid and then on the final floor it was significantly larger

Ooh, upon looking at it there were some faint memories, and I recall hearing about Cairo:Otherscape when it was kickstarted but had forgotten to keep track of it/look into it more. Thank you for the reminder of what looks to be a super cool system/game!

Hmm I’m not sure! Something more elaborate encounter wise than Mercenaries. While I liked them, and still do, I want more than do you fight this one rare enemy. Maybe an out of map thing, though we did have settlers for such a long time a break from that for longer could be nice
