Christmas was so weird this year not being at home in my parish. it was a bit sad this year because it was so weird to do so little “priestly things” for Christmas.

why are Catholics obsessed with everything being under attack? A) The Cross guarantees things are under attack, but a far more nefarious source than ideologies B) this weird sense of victimization that refuses a communion with the true Victim. It is tiresome

it always amazes me how easy it is for me to read when I am traveling. between sky train and my flight, I got through 1/3 of this book. maybe the more focused and less stressful life is helping me focus longer in reading!
