it’s hard to break a habit i’ve had for sixteen years. the way people interact with and use the other place has changed considerably in that time. the way i use it, as a place to scream into the void, hasn’t.

i know it won’t be possible to bring all my moots with me, but i think i’ve made peace with that and am ready to try.

he spent a lot of time on his own because i was always working or having a life and he was the only cat i had. looking back, i wish i had gotten a second cat for him, but he seemed to adjust okay.

it’s still so insane referring to him in the past tense. i’ve had pets die before lars but they were family pets. lars was mine. he lived with me and i was all he knew.
