They've made us believe that coding is inaccessible and cryptic and that's an insult to your intelligence because I promise that you can learn to cobble together some CSS/HTML

(The thing is the QAnon folks are right that we're being lied to but they just misidentified the liar and the lie. But that's a different story.)

Do I think QAnon causes genuine harm? Absolutely, but I also don't think I would be doing anything other than satisfying my own anger attacking them. Which would honestly just be an inefficient use of my energy and not good praxis. If we want folks to deconstruct, we have to offer an alternative.

I'm engaged to someone who grew up in a Christian cult (see Shiny Happy People) and he is still deconstructing and healing from that experience in his 30's. It's not for the faint of heart. You have to completely break down your entire reality AND confront how you hurt others.
