Workday in the woods - who needs a gym membership when there's gardening to be done! Planting primroses donated by a regular visit to the DKH wood open space, strimming to remove undergrowth, laying woodchip to reduce erosion of the path and cutting back plants to keep the walkways accessible.

This week we welcomed 40 people to Dog Kennel Hill woods on an annual bat walk courtesy of @se5forum.bsky.social and @camberwell-se5.bsky.social. Among the bats we heard were Pipistrelle bats - with our woods the height of activity - and a welcome sign of insect activity and local biodiversity
