relatively recent piece I finished for an art course. done in watercolor, colored pencil, and acrylic paint.

reference of a character for @gravthezero.bsky.social from 2022 (needs to be updated; i'll post that when i'm done with it!)
a reference sheet of a bright blue dragon-like character. the reference sheet features a front and back view of their full body, and a left and right view of just their bust. on the front view, they hold a bass guitar that is bright yellow and orange, which contrasts greatly with their colors. their stomach is a lighter blue than the rest of them. they have pits in their face and a forked tongue like a viper's; eardrums, fingers, and toes like a frog's; and a rattle at the end of their tail like a rattlesnake. they have light blue markings that look like eyeshadow, and a neutral look on their face. there is text in the top left corner accompanying the right-facing headshot, with the character looking nervous, that says "tend to be shy because of their venom." In the middle, there is a sprig of hemlock next to descriptive text: "Hemlock; Dragon, rattlesnake, poison dart frog; they/them."
