I had experience with thinkbook that power off itself if you close lid. Only fix that i found is a Arch aur Chinese guys with description only on Chinese =) So my suggestion if you are looking to buy laptop for Linux - do big research before buying anything

Doing something with Linux on laptops almost always is awful experience. Broken sleep, broken screen light, functional keys doesn't work...

I recently migrated from macos to fedora desktop because apple pc's with 16+ ram costs too much and i miss many things from macos - figma and similar desktop apps (for example figma allows to develop plugins only inside app), icloud integration and nonfreezing os when there are too much apps :(
