2nd edition is a good edition in nostalgic memory, as a system it was a cluster fuck. An enjoyable cluster fuck for its time, but still a terrible system.

The Horus Heresy ruleset, and most of the community, is a lot closer to the good old 4th and 5th than the current 40k abomination is.

Was working on a Speaker of the Dead like that for Heresy, not completed the conversion though.

That, is a fucking gorgeous base!

That is a really good scheme, especially using essentially just 3 colors (and a bit of dark brown there). My only criticism might be that the spirit stone on the helmet feels off, but that is tricky to fix without adding more colors to the pallete.

It is one of the nicer places here, but not the only one by far ;)

I'm going to have to figure out a way to get clear lenses into the frame for the glasses. The somewhat opaque printed lenses are a minus, the overall model is A+ though.
