Bemoaned, were the sights that it held.
Engrossed, were the years that it shelved.

A Familiar Walk by Frogg Corpse With a blink, nimble in thought I placed my pen on a familiar walk. Where lives lay spurned, bit my tongue I wrote of hills through a rolling fog. Thought of woods, spat on path, Pressing stones on chest again. Paddle-prodded, iron maiden chaste, Stockade garments, forever stained. Sick of sight, sick of you, Sending shade through shapeless gloom. With your sickened mind Worn gaunt & glum I'd rather take clamps-to-tongue. And revel in these pressing words Than remain to you, judgment shunned. Of this head, felt bound & stripped Dunking chair: memories drenched. On River Row mine love laments: "Fuck You Cunt. Drown the witch."

A Dead Ringer by Frogg Corpse As it walked a midnight clearing Dressed of dirt and suit unthreading Doors of dread--attached to shackle Pull casket blessings through forest meadow. Coffin coffers of obol'd tokens, Spill from mouth Tasting: of blood and silver. A lonely jaunt where jogger's jog, Cracked and split: of ankles popped Dragging skin--where crawlers crawl, Over lunar hedges, by embalming arms. Rotting spreads-slowing stance Of prickly pine and orchid stench Plucking lilies for wreathe to bend Ne'er-the-place, dirt lain gives. Soilent mirth from walker drifts Under row where dirt lanes shift. A caw of crow--in peace we miss, A bearer's noting - to burn the remembrance. Thirst relentless, bathed in soil Tugging chain by burial haul, It wept no streams of cedar pulled By the flooded feet of its galleon goods. From its sound rang casket chimes A minted proof for a funeral ride. On passing feet: above six to climb, Rousing row from their long goodbye.

On a Field of Frosted Ground by Frogg Corpse The sun no longer sets, It bleeds into the days, An endless night Tarnished and weathered A wielding field of names Sorrow shakes a familiar hand Greeting, where loss was founded; Crescent shapes over footsteps felled, Thoughts revolve: rounded. Emptied & Depleted, chance has gone Under broken bones and pastures Echoes fade, in limited breath, Exhaling to the caskets. Desperation: In the whites of our eyes. Recollection: A signal of a pulse. Withering Ambition: The burning of our wants. Memories grounded: Nothing to be proud of Fall into, Fixing eyes to dust Looking back into, The years of what once was.

A Dead Poet... by Frogg Corpse These trocken grasses once moved with wind, While September sounded its song... Alone they lay in harrowsome fields Thatched across the mire. In the brisk year's end Seeking for love to grow I gazed into a thought.. No sprout, nor bract Sprung from autumnal steps, In the australis which held my heart Oh me, oh my! Oh, these yawping cries Caressed by the mood of its rush, In the reeds once seen By the barren eyes ov a teague, Stand in the absence ov where you are not. By palm, my palm, O' misfortune read Dreading the deliverer of morrow's song A seance from sleep confounding me Over dead memories on where you have gone.
