Mandatory cosplay pic tax from CEO2025! (Very late, oops)
I had a ton of fun, got to know lots of cool people and other cosplayers and I may or may not have decided to pick up Tekken.
Sincerely hope I can go again next year, though for now I'll focus on getting a new cosplay Holmat-ready.

Just realized I never posted a picture of my full Gale cosplay. This is my first homemade cosplay (based on a modified pattern by MeigetsuShop on Etsy), so might as well show it off a little :)
I had only ever made props before, so this is a bit of an achievement for me :)

First day at Holmat was awesome! Saw a lot of amazing cosplays, chatted to some nice people, spent a little too much money on trinkets...

The fact that Holmat is so close kind of scares me.... I thought I had more time, I still don't even have pants. ...and also still missing the emotional preparation needed to cut my hair to match Gale's AAAAHHHH

After several failed attempts, I have finally come up with a bracer design I'm mostly happy with. I couldn't get the material to behave when actually woven, so it's painted.
Gale was NOT one with the weave on this one.

Right. Now that I've led (attempted to lead) my twitter following over here (with minimal success), I might as well deter them (two people, thank you btw lol) again: there won't be any rp script content on here any time soon. Only yapping, complaints about sewing being hard and the like.

Progress all around! I didn't get to do much actual sewing yesterday (and the one seam I did do, I managed to do wrong, great), but I do really like adding details, so...

Between discovering that getting the middle of Gale's belt entirely correct is physically impossible, and having to cut through my stitches on the second photo, this isn't going too well lol.
But I have high hopes things will look a lot better once I add the pleather
