I don't understand the end. Were they let go? Why? Had the war ended? Did I miss some foreshadowing from earlier in the film? WHAT IS GOING ON!?!!?!???!!! There is very little emotional dialogue, and the characters aren't distinguishable. It all seems so thoughtless ... ALL OF IT!

I didn't hate it, but I will definitely need to re-watch it to gauge my feelings appropriately. Judy Garland is still terrifying (and only 21 when filming). She looks 45 - AHHHH!!!!!!

Also, why do the EWOKS sound like Minions? I always hated the Minions - maybe, subconsciously - this is why?
