every hour or so, give your body a few moments of rest and try to get up and move around, even if just a little. I wouldn't wish what happened to me on anyone, and it sounds like you got very close to it. Drawing is very fun, but it can hurt ya lots if you're not careful ♡♡♡

From what you listed, it sounds almost exactly like what happened to me last year. It got really bad and took about a year to work out/recover from. I'm glad you're doing okay! Best advice is- pace yourself, stretch lots (especially your neck), try not to be in the same position for too long-

Overcomplicated designs, I think, can take more away than add. You want something that you can fairly easily picture in your mind when you think of them. I think that goes for character design as a whole. If there's too much going on, it can take away from "seeing their face."

Simple with light flair to bring out their personality. Oftentimes, in Pokémon, it's not so much the clothes, but the hair and face that really tell you what they're like. Clothing adds to it, but if you change their clothes, you still know who they are.
