Was looking at the last two title winners results on this matchday weekend. Both City in '23 & Liverpool in '24 dropped home points against average opponents. It's just part of the course.

This is where I'm at, too. Perhaps they could have involved the SGs more (I'm only going on what the SGs said, so perhaps the owners did), but other than that this all makes sense.

I imagine they knew the risk of public protests if supporters were inside the room. Rightfully so, as I'm sure there would've been. But that's on the owners for not managing the transition better. If they'd have made the SGs feel like stakeholders in the change there'd be more goodwill.

I'll be between London & Northants mainly, with a night in Cardiff to see some friends. Would love to go to Everton, but have a family party that day. Which will involve ignoring everyone so I can watch in TV.

It feels very Gareth Wheeler to me - fair play to him if so. A stopped clock, etc.

I absolutely would not want to grab a beer with him, but he's fantastic for the league. Single handedly introduced a bunch of new rivalries and talking points.

For sure. 9 times out of 10 Macron hit a home run with Wanderers kits. The soundwave one in 2020 was the only misstep IMO. All the rest were great.
