it's all about making it easier for fans or anyone to get to your music and there are still people out there that prefer non-streaming. You don't even have to ask for money on bandcamp you can also offer the music for free or pay-what-you-want. I respect tho not wanting to make bank

Don't count it as a mistake because if someone does find your stuff on soundcloud or yt for example, they might check out your bandcamp to purchase your songs. You can even put links to bandcamp from your soundcloud songs if people are interested in buying them and it's higher quality for them

It's a great platform but you will have to work to have an audience there since there isn't really any discovery or algorithm there like there is on soundcloud but absolutely use bandcamp, some of the most legit platform out there for musicians
