Yeah, I completely agree with international concerns about American military operations. Everyone has good cause to be extremely upset and disturbed by the events of our nation. I wonder how we, as Americans, fix it. Obviously, our usual voting will not be enough!

I'm not one to deny that a significant portion of Americans are christofascist nazis. I do believe that it's *baked in* to our country's racialized system and economy. However, I do think it does a disservice to the groups who don't ascribe to it and are kept in disarray by the prior ones.

That is true, but the situation facing the US now and for the last several decades is the base of power built therein. The President has a lot of power (as we clearly see), but without a congress backing him as a majority, not as much.

Nearly a third of the country didn’t vote, likely for a variety of reasons, and gerrymandering, a push for making it harder for people to vote in general, and so on—I wouldn’t say this is who we are. But I would definitely say this is who our powerful are.
