Do you not consider it evil to intentionally look away and not prioritize that problem? Don't gas companies and governments have a moral responsibility to strongly prioritize solving those complex problems? 3/3

I've been contemplating this all day. I keep coming back to Spider-man. "With great power comes great responsibility." I agree, complex problems don't always mean evil motives. However, if someone has the power and capability to solve a problem, specifically one that harms others... 2/3

I feel like now is more important than ever to prioritize learning quality engineering and understanding what makes good code and bad code (as well as understanding why)

That's how image classification works though, it's a form of machine learning. You could repackage it and say it uses statistics and image data, but it's still under the umbrella of AI. I'm not aware of any other tools or software paradigms that would enable them to do this.

Shows some legitimacy to your efforts and interest in the field. It's more about the fact that you took some time to code and deploy it (assuming it looks and behaves presentably). If it has some really impressive projects, posts, whatever, then that's even better

Sir, they hit the second signal chat

Good to know the QA experience is universal. Same thing happens in web development testing. We're allotted x days to test new features. Devs go late, we now have 1 day to test. "This isn't enough time" "we'll fix it next sprint, don't worry", followed by "how did QA miss this??"

Yes, obviously

I wonder if they'll build it on one of the existing protocols or do it proprietary

Awesome!

I suppose it makes the movie more money if crowds of people are attending to do ridiculous stuff. He possibly doesn't really have much of an incentive to discourage it

It's interesting observing where they try to get away with labeling everything as AI too. My mom told me that an AI transcribed her zoom meeting. I'm sure they use machine learning to convert speech to text, but in the past we would have just called it software. It's a useful tool, but still.
