Common. Understood. And are they still meaningful and illuminating or not?Eliminating ministries and ministers dealing with affordable housing, mental health and addictions, family and social policy?

Their election strategy was quite effective. They went into all the rural areas and kissed ass with all the JT haters during covid. They got them into politics so they could banish gay and trans people from their farming towns and warp healthcare to disallow women’s rights.

I am in Calgary. I kind of hope it doesn’t pass because the timing would be horrible. It just stirs up more division that we don’t need right now. It really sucks to be in this situation with Smith. She is cunning like Trump and knows how to divide people and generate hate and disgust and fear.

Please don’t paint us all the same here in AB. What if we all try not to ‘other’ entire populations or groups? That’s how things begin to slide. I’m not in support of the Alberta conservatives and never have been. But I live here. Wishing that you too might flourish wherever you are tonight.

I am serious. Thank you. I have earmarked it for my bedtime reading :). All this is studying up for voting day.

Oh my gosh yes

Articulate please.
When you say ‘You’ who do you mean?
Describe these homes you speak of?
Do I need to commute 2 hours a day to work or school to afford them?
There are millennials who feel completely overlooked by your platform.
They do not see home ownership in their future.
walk to school?

Still. Moves were made yes?

Something to look into deeper for sure. Thank you!

That’s a big generalization. I moved to #Alberta in 2000 from Ontario to work in film and tv. In the past 25 years I have observed in YYC a massive growth in support of the left leaning parties including the JT lead Liberals.

I just did and she replied “who says the other parties wouldnt have done the same? Or maybe better.” Just sharing my reality and I appreciate the chill discussion on what feels like a safe platform.

Always an appreciated reminder to ground and regulate. We need to ramp up the self care

🥱 I wish I could feel good about voting Liberal. The current climate is being leveraged by Liberals. The constant ‘outrage’ distracts from what matters in the end and I don’t get the warm fuzzies that MC cares much about DEI and the wellbeing of families, or has a grasp on the addiction epidemic.
