Do you mean just the actual blank spaces where no screens go, or how the segments don't seem to align properly if you don't count the UI? If you include the UI, which the tail goes behind, it all lines up pretty seamlessly.

What a bizarre mess of a journey this entire game has been. 8-18 years waiting and it was for that. As I predicted the entire time, it's basically fine but nobody involved in making this had any idea what they were doing with Metroid besides Trying To Make Money.

It's fine, a lot of the same things to like as with Hollow Knight, and all of the same flaws. Act 1 is the best part, virtually flawless in its pacing, then immediately after the first boss of Act 2 drops off sharply with still some peaks, and then most of Act 3 is just uninteresting.

People coming out of the woodwork to give me advice on making caramel is a bit funny and something I did brace myself for. We don't really use corn syrup here because we don't suck, and the condensed milk slow cooker method is for dulce de leches, when I wanted more of a toffee outcome, for coating.

What an insane thing to put as the thumbnail of a video. The race to the bottom for clicks has eradicated multiple generations' ability to care about people more than money.
