part of me just wants to rush forward in time to next spring, when i know whether or not i'll be tenured & capable of feeling like I can breathe for a moment, but i know that no matter the outcome i still get to be in the driver's seat for what i spend my time on for my career + enrichment

i'm really lucky i had a chance to go on a friend weekend trip this year; i've been crying ever since i got on the plane back

I knew that I should have applied for a passport before jan 20th and will deal with the consequences of that but i woke up in a panic at 4am because goddamn i should have signed up for IDR on my student loans. living in the present because if i think to hard about the future i will [redacted]
